NHSRC held a day-long workshop on Radiation Health Safety and Security on November 2, with experts from Atomic Energy Radiation Board, Institute of Nuclear Medicine & Allied Sciences (INMAS) – DRDO, Baba Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission taking part in it.
Radiodiagnosis is an indispensable tool in healthcare system. Adequate precautions and compliance with Atomic Energy Regulatory Board is essential to reduce associated health risks.
The workshop also saw participation from 21 states/UTs.
