Mr. Tushar Kumar Verma brings over a decade of experience in the public health sector, with a strong focus on program implementation under the National Health Mission (NHM). He holds dual master’s degrees-Master of Public Health and Master of Biotechnology, equipping him with a multidisciplinary understanding of health systems and scientific innovation. His professional expertise encompasses Health Systems Strengthening, Urban Health, Quality Assurance, Community Health, One Health, and SDG 3-Health and Well-being. He is skilled in designing, evaluating, and refining public health programs that address diverse health challenges across both developed and low-resource settings, ensuring evidence-based and sustainable approaches.
Mr. Verma has previously served as a Consultant (SDGs Vertical) at NITI Aayog and as a District Manager as well as District consultant under the National Health Mission, contributing extensively to public health management, planning, and research. He is trained as an assessor in NQAS, Health Policy and Planning, Disaster Management, Epidemic Preparedness, and various Maternal and Child Health schemes. Proficient in program monitoring and supervision, community engagement, and stakeholder management, Mr. Verma aspires to contribute to the large-scale health interventions that integrate community participation, data-driven decision-making, and cross-sectoral collaboration to achieve sustainable health outcomes.
