NHSRC recently organised a half-day orientation workshop on Public Health Management Cadre at India Habitat Centre. The meeting was held with the goal of orienting the Centre of Excellence and academic institutions on the core principles and suggested structure of PHMC, allowing the institutions to better comprehend and support states in the implementation of PHMC.
The meeting was attended by the directors of PGIMER Chandigarh, AFMC Pune, JIPMER Puducherry, AIIMS Rishikesh, IIHMR Delhi, IIPH Delhi, and IIPH Shillong. Community Medicine Department Heads from AIIMS Jodhpur, AIIMS Bhubaneshwar, IIM Bengaluru, SCTIMST Kerela, IIPH Gandhinagar, and SHSRC Haryana, Kerela, Karnataka, and Gujarat also attended the workshop.
