Deepak Bhagat has expertise in evidence synthesis, data mining, and health systems research (operational research and systems analysis). Much of his work includes Primary & Secondary Health Care, policy planning, program implementation & management, monitoring & evaluation, and strengthening referral linkages. His professional approach is based on ensuring equity, access to care, drugs and diagnostics, ability to pay, and addressing social determinants of health. During COVID 19 first wave, he served as State Level Monitor in rural Odisha. Dr. Bhagat holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health (MPH) from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Jodhpur, and an Elite certificate in Health Research Fundamentals from the Indian Council of Medical Research – National Institute of Epidemiology. In the recent past, he presented his research work in international conferences such as ISQua Italy and IEA Sri Lanka with full scholarships.
