Notice: Empanelment of NQAS External Assessors
It is bring to the kind notice that minimum 10 years of post-degree experience of direct care of patient/program administration/health administration /health consultancy/relevant teaching experience is one of the mandatory criteria for empanelment as NQAS External Assessor. (Reference; As per the ‘Annexure E’ of Operational Guidelines for Quality Assurance in Public Health Facilities 2013’’-page no.77)
It has also been observed that many states nominated candidates do not meet this criteria.Such candidates later apply for empanelment as an External Assessor, as & when they attain the required experience of 10 years.
The issue has been discussed in the NQAS Appeal Committee held on 6th March 2020.It has been decided that the candidates not meeting the eligibility criteria for empanelment will not be permitted to appear in the examination, conducted on the last day of 5-Day External Assessors training. They will be issued with the certificate of participation only.
