With a bachelor’s degree in dental surgery from Jamia Millia Islamia and master’s in public health from AIIMS Jodhpur, Dr Musarrat has been actively involved in formulation of various National Guidelines including the Indian Public Health Standards 2022, Operational & Technical Guidelines on Emergency, Critical Care & Support Services, newer initiatives such as 15th Finance Commission and PM-ABHIM.
She has been associated with the State of Chhattisgarh to provide technical hand-holding support in implementation of national health programs, through capacity development, supportive supervision, and monitoring and support for implementation of newer initiatives under ECRP, 15th Finance Commission and Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission.
She has also been involved in providing support to States in strengthening public healthcare facilities in terms of infrastructural requirements and technical protocols.
Apart from progressing, improving and gaining further wisdom in public health, she pursues keen interest in overall determinants of health peculiarly in the field of education.
