Ayushman Bharat

Ayushmann bhav

According to the commitment of the Government of India to reach to the last mile and provide access to health care services for everyone in the society, the Ayushman Bhav initiative is intended to saturate all health care services in every village and town. The Ayushman Bhav initiative involves a number of interventions, such as Ayushman - Apke Dwar; Ayushman Sabhas; Ayushman Melas at the level of health and wellness; Ayushman Medical Camps by Medical Colleges at CHCs and ultimately awarding Ayushman Panchayat status for Gram/Nagar Panchayats in a saturation mode.

Ayushman - Apke Dwar was successfully implemented with three important goals in mind: raising awareness, boosting Ayushman card penetration, and developing a continuum of care that would eventually enhance scheme utilization.

Health melas are "one-stop" platforms that can address a wide range of health issues and have shown to be an effective way to reach the general public. They are well-liked by the general public because they offer health services like education about health and wellness, preventive measures, early detection, and treatment, as well as being a powerful tool for encouraging health-seeking behavior.

The Ayushman Sabha involves giving out Ayushman cards to qualified beneficiaries, displaying a list of those who have received care through PM-JAY, highlighting empaneled hospitals in the area, organizing special health talks to raise awareness of NCDs, TB, routine immunization, SCD, and Ayushman cards, as well as making it easier to create ABHA IDs. Additionally, there are additional invitees such as MPs/MLAs, PMJAY recipients, Ayushman Bharat Health and Wellness Centre recipients, champions against tuberculosis, etc.

Ayushman Bhav is a comprehensive solution crafted by the IT Division of NHSRC with precision to complement the commitment of Ayushman Bhav program and it provides a robust platform for health administrators, practitioners, and beneficiaries to help achieve the saturation of various health schemes at ground level. Under Ayushman Bhav portal, there is a dedicated section to capture Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, which is a nationwide initiative with an objective to empower citizens with various flagship schemes of GOI, along with providing on the spot services at Gram Panchayats/Urban Local Bodies through mobile vans.
